The menu is diverse and interesting and not too extensive so as to promote quality over quantity. Good value for money. I was passing by and will definitely call in again when next in the area. Exceeded my expectations .
We went for lunch today. We didn’t have a booking and we did turn up a little earlier than the start of lunch service (starts at 11.30am). The place was already full. The person who we saw (a young man) tried to find us a table but advised they were full and those tables which were booked were expecting guests within next 10 mins. He said we could sit at the window bar which was fine. He did advise lunch wouldn’t be served till 12pm but we were more than welcome to order drinks while waiting which we did. Hubby and i ordered a coffee while our 4 yo son was kept busy with coloring pencils and coloring kids menu provided by staff while we waited. The place has a fantastic neighborhood buzz.. you can enjoy a quick coffee or leisurely meal at the outdoor or indoor tables.Parking is easy on street or they do have customer parking at the back of the restaurant. It’s a short walk to nearby Harris farm and Woolies too if like us you need to buy a few groceries after!Lunch was served at 12pm as promised and it did not disappoint! Serving sizes were perfect and even the kids meal of fish and chips was very generous. My hubby got the roast pork which was tender and the fat had been nicely rendered leaving a nice amount of skin crackling. The herb filling inside was the right amount of herby flavor. I had the slow roasted lamb on sour dough. I usually don’t like bread served with meals on top as usually the bread is too thick but this was just nice. Easy to cut into with knife and fork and it doesn’t fall apart which made it easy to eat. Our son had the fish and chips.. he usually doesn’t eat the fish but today he ate it first which was incredible! Coffees were lovely.We for sure would come back again.. good neighborhood cafe serving good value and quality food is hard to come by so this place wins hands down. Good work and we’d see you again soon!

What a great addition to the area! The menu has nicely balanced modern Australian options: salmon entree & prawn toast were delicious and were very generous sizes. The steak main and fish & chips were also beautifully done. Duck main was delicious but a small negative was the addition of duck croquette which was a little dry. Duck fat potato sides was a particular indulgent highlight, highly recommend! Not sure of their long term strategy; but being locals, the lack of byo during the week is a real shame and will impact how often we go.
