Didn’t feel like getting dressed up so ordered a takeaway. Funny how the site doesn’t mentioned take away. Even funnier, they don’t offer a discount on not having to wash up dishes and change tablecloths. The food is nice enough but not special. Not as spicy as most Indian and to their credit, not as salty. But here comes the rub, $71- for 1 serve of seekh kebab, 1 chicken tikka, 1 lamb korma and 1 beef madras and 2 plain naans. Rice and a bottle of wine would have taken a dine-in bill to almost $130- for 2. I can go to some for Sydney’s best Indian restaurants for that price.Seekh kebabs were a little too mild while the chicken tikka was the stand out of the whole meal. The Korma was just ordinary. The Madras sauce was nice but the meat was tough, and very little of it, but the potato made up for the volume. And the worrying bit, there was a trace of rice in the sauce (like you might get from scrapings from another plate). Very unprofessional. My measure of approval is ‘would I come back to eat here’ and sadly in this instance, the answer is no. Sydney has way too many Indian restaurants to say the search stops here. Nice mediocre.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at in Sydney. The quality of food is outstanding and it is great value for money. I highly recommend ordering the banquet, it provides a great selection of food and the amount of food served is more than enough. The service is great, all staff are very friendly and welcoming. At time the service may be a little slow but I believe this is due to the large number of take away orders they receive. However if you are after a quick meal this isn’t normally a problem.
This place serves really good quality Indian food. We loved the dossai, naan, crispy spinach, samosa, butter chicken, momo and okra. My new favourite Indian restaurant! Only thing was that service was a bit slow but that’s because they had 3 big tables and lots of delivery orders.
