We started with the ragda pattice. These are deep fried potato cakes with a kind of chickpea gravy. They also have a sweet and spicy chutney’s on it. The pattice itself was really thin and the gravy was thin. The flavour was lovely. For mains we went for the palak paneer and plain rotis. The paneer again was ok, mildly spiced and needed a bit of salt. The rotis were nice and soft. Overall an ok meal, portion sizes quite small compared to other Indian restaurants.

The worst Indian food I have tasted in Sydney. This is not what authentic Bombay cuisine is!! Portion sizes are appalling and the curries should be avoided at all cost. Owner is rude, but the ambience is appealing. Avoid if you are looking for good, authentic Indian food.

Fantastically tasty good, plentiful and surprisingly cheap. Lovely helpful staff. Beautiful restaurant. We couldn’t have had a better time. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food, excellent service! The spoof was spicy and tasty while the service was warm and friendly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting Indian food in Sydney.

One of my favourite Indian restaurants of all time! I don’t get to come here often enough, but every time is such a great experience. There are lots of dishes to choose from. Every curry is flavourful and the spicy dishes do not pull their punches! The meat must be slow cooked for days it is so tender. The servers are always friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent food and service. Reasonable price. I have been here a couple of times and already loved this place but my last visit I came on a 50% off Dimmi special which was an absolute ripper deal! Compared to other Indian restaurants, Bombay Street Kitchen has a much better atmosphere in a great location, less pricey (even if full price), and with a modern twist on the menu. We came on a quiet night but service is generally quick anyway. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come again.

We were here last weekend..had heard rave reviews for this place and was super excited to try the amazing menu. Was sadly disappointed with wot I tasted. Had ordered kheema pav, prawns koliwada, sheekh kebab, veg Frankie, vada pav to start with. Was bit disappointed with the portion size, however taste is wot mattered. The kheema was low on salt and watered down, there was no fat/oil on the surface couldn’t taste the masala plus peas in it felt that they were put at the very end where I could taste the water in them, koliwada prawns tasted good. Veg Frankie was just potato stuffing with salads (that’s wot is not expected off street food Frankie). The chaat items were okay to taste. Sheekh kebabs were a bit dry but the taste was not bad. The vada pav was a sad let down, the stuffing should be hot and garlicky.Didn’t stay for mains as honestly didn’t want to be disappointed! Hope it was just a bad day for them, as so many people have rave reviews for them.may be I might try them once more.
