This is how massaman beef should taste – perfectly balanced with meat that just melts in your mouth. Thai on wok is a well established local, that makes consistently good food. My tip – Their curries are better than their stir-frys.Service is quick and efficient.
Good Thai place… Good flavours and large servings. Ordered some take away and they were fast and efficient. Menu is restricted and feels like take away only though you can dine in too.
My favourite Thai restaurant at Glebe point road..I love their spring roll and vege fried rice.. Cheaper at lunch time… Great value for money…
Noodles are my comfort go to food. And yesterday was one of those days where I really had a craving for noodles, and being in Glebe, headed here to get my craving fix. They have their lunch specials which is quite cheap and some dishes are under $10. So, if you want a quick bite and budget eat, this is the place to be. Be warned! This place is a cash only eatery which is annoying at times, because i rely on my card for most purchases and sometimes forget that I don’t have can on me. Aside from that, this place is quite tasty and the food comes out fairly promptly. Ordered pad Thai and pad see ew to share and entres of curry puffs and fish cakes, setting us back $25 only. The portion size is VERY generous. We couldn’t finish the Pad Thai. If you’re in the neighbourhood and craving Thai, I’d recommend this place for budget, taste, and promptness!
Yeah hadn’t had Thai on Wok for a long while…Dinner Penang Chicken Curry…Small and Stingy Dinner Portion complete with a pretentious buttressed mini crockpot to distract you from the lack of content… The meal…Watery with no hint of Coconut Cream Smoothness…The flavour was en pointe at least Thank GodDefinitely prefer Tom Yum Tum Gang down the road…Thai On Wok used to be a Glebe Thai Food InstitutionNow it’s more of an Asylum and judging by the near empty dining room won’t be here for long…Advice… Paying full price for a dinner menu item infers a dinner size meal not a budget lunchtime special scoop of mashSad to see standards drop to rock bottom
Thumbs up for this place. We were greeted quickly and happily. I got takeaway Chicken Pad Thai. It was quick, cheap, generous serving and delicious!
Great Thai and good lunch specials. Some lunch dishes range around the $10And it’s a very generous serving! Quick service and pleasant staff too. Good for that quick pad Thai or chicken cashew nut fix to tackle the markets or whatever day you have ahead!
