We came here on a Sunday night and there was plenty of space – the service was friendly and didn’t seem to be slow like what the other reviews have mentioned. We had the sashimi combo with Wagyu Yakiniku and Deep fried Yellowtail fish, which both came with miso soup, seaweed, salad, rice and sashimi. The sashimi was tasty but could have been sliced thinner, and the fish didn’t seem to have much of a fishy taste since it was fried. It was priced at $29.80 which was a bit on the higher end, but better if you apply 25% off using Entertainment Book! We enjoyed our meal (alongside some refreshing plum wine), but there wasn’t anything super special about it.
I got the lunch set Sashimi + Pork loin cutlet, it comes with miso soup, rice, salad, and side dishes. The food was quite nice, sashimi was fresh and the cutlet was very crunchy. The variety in the lunch set also made the meal interesting. It was a Saturday and the restaurant was quite busy, however there was only one wait staff and one chef, therefore our order only came 35 minutes after we ordered. It was a little disappointing.Hopefully the short staffed situation was only a one off and I am looking forward to come try the udon set.
