A 3.25 on pies. Heard about this neighbourhood cafe which sells delish pies. Grabbed couple of beef pie chicken pie n could not resist choco croissant as well. They werent out of this world n they aint cheap but well above average. Certainly slightly better than pottery green down the road.
Pretty good local bakery along the Pacific Highway. Stopped by around 1ish lunch on Sat, many items have already sold out (no croissants left). Lucky for me they had 1 slow cooked beef pie left. Flaky & buttery pastry, slow cook beef was moist & soft, chunky meat pieces, but does needs a little more seasoning. Also got a glazed donut to go. The donut was fluffy with a chewy dough, bit like a brioche in donut shape. The sugar glaze was nice & fragrant like bergamot. Can’t wait to try the other offerings they have.
