Service – quick, reliable, friendly Nice restaurant furnishings, bit dated, but has mood, nice music, quiet ambience. We come here on the weekends for greasy hangover food and are never disappointed. Reasonably priced too – most dishes are under $20. Will definitely visit here again.

Racist owners who segregates tables for Caucasian and Asian customers. Unauthentic overpriced Chinese food targeted at non-Chinese clientele.RACIST OWNERSThe old world charm of this quaint suburban Chinese restaurant attracts many Caucasian customers. In fact the seating arrangement here is based on skin colour and very reminiscent of the old White Australia policy. It is well known among Chinese customers on the North Shore for the past 20 years that this restaurant’s Chinese owners discriminate against Chinese customers. Again and again, my friends and I have noticed how Caucasian customers are seated close to the windows, while Asian customers are given tables close to the toilets (no matter how early they booked their tables). The owners (a Chinese couple) would snub Chinese customers- probably because they don’t tend to order lots of alcoholic beverages, while they fuss over the Caucasian customers, chatter and socialize with them and hold up/ play with their toddlers, etc.My wife is Caucasian and even she feels disgusted that these Chinese restauranteurs treat customers in this day and age differently based on their skin colour. That preferential seating arrangement is also remniscent of segregation of black and white Americans in eateries in the old days !27 Nov, 2014Unauthentic Chinese food and preferential seating arrangements. Food is unauthentic and overpriced.Clear observation of a preferential seating arrangement with Caucasian customers being seated closer to the windows while Asian customers get the tables near the toilets (no matter how early the table was booked). Asian customers tend to get snubbed because they don’t order lots of alcoholic beverages.
