I’ve lived in Australia for 22 years but am a New Zealander and thus an expert on Fush and Chups. This is the best I’ve had in Australia … better than ocean foods in Drummoyne even. Chips hand cut. Service good. Highly recommend … I drive 15 kms to get them.
Makes his own chips – which is the only reason we travel from Lindfield to get said chippys. Schnitzel burgers were a bit dry but i like ’em crispy so it was fine. Overall always happy.
2014: Oily and moreish, exactly how fish and chips should be. The only problem I had was that the batter and fish did not unite in a harmonious marriage, instead the batter on the fish tore away every time I cut at it to take another forkfull of glorious aquatic goodness. However, this wouldn’t stop me from coming back for more. 2018 Update:Went back here recently and it wasn’t quite the same. Fish was just ok but the chips were seriously disappointing, it looked like we had been given all the dregs from the bottom, most of the chips were those little burnt crunchy ones. 🙁
