Ordered takeout but knowing how long ribs usually take, i wanted to know how long their turnaround is, seeing that the place wasnt busy though they had 1 large group settling in. 15 min wait turned out to be a 40 min wait. Inevitable comparison to hurricane surely ensues when it comes down to american style bbq ribs. Joint did not disappoint . Both beef n porky ribs were well marinated, soft almost fall off the bone kind with enuf tendon to make each bite less boring. The only slight downside would be that both ribs needed a little more of their (secret?) sauce while being basted. Return? Yes
We had steaks ranging through Rump, Sirloin and Tenderloin. All were cooked to perfection with the distinction between medium rare and medium clearly apparent. My sirloin was truly one of the best steaks i’ve ever had and I barely used my mushroom sauce for fear of missing the flavour of the meat. I used it on the chips which I honestly couldn’t improve if I tried.The service was friendly with just the right amount of engagement. I do think they need to work on the atmosphere. The historic photos of Gordon are nice but the flashing open sign, strange music choice (as much as I love rock it was a tad strange) and offers of seafood with I think one fish item on the menu left room for improvement.
Went here for dinner last night and all the dishes were delicious. The highlights were the Louisiana Wings and the Pork Ribs. They’re not licensed, so make sure you BYO! threespoonsfullblog.wordpress.com
Tried this place a couple of times and each time the food has been amazing! The bruschetta is the best in Sydney hands down, and the burgers are unreal! Making this place our local as the food is beautiful and the staff are amazing and friendly. 10/10
