Got em ebi katsu rolls n crabby stick rolls here, they some 5-10% cheeper but samey quality like the rest of em. They got em udon teriyaki n other stuffs too around here. Small sit in but kindly welcoming lady behind the counter so why not dive in.
Modest suburban sushi shop. There are thousands just like this all over Sydney.Udon + tempura prawnsx2 for $11 – tastes exactly like it was made from bottled dashi broth concentrate with defrosted udon noodles. Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing – except that the noodles were tough, very chewy and likely undercooked. Not enjoyable and certainly nothing special, but at least the staff were very polite and friendly.
Sushi rolls here are always reliable and relatively cheap. That said, they are nothing special. Same with the tempura udon- it is lacking in flavour and the tempura prawns were soggy immediately. A good Japanese place on the north shore but it definitely has a lot to improve on.
