I never eat Barramundi cooked so bad…no taste at all.
I had the hake with chips. Everything tasted good, except it was let down by being a bit oily.I did not have any problems with the service. The staff were friendly.
Great fish and chips.. I had the barramundi and calarami was excellent and would definitely recommend to anyone with fair priced food and friendly staff.
Terrible Terrible Terrible. The staff were rude and again, acted as if they didn’t want to be there. The chips were absolutely disgusting – undercooked and soggy. The fish was just awful – just taken out of the freezer and as if they had been in there for years. Tasted terrible. Honestly the worst fish and chips I have ever had – which is exceptionally disappointing considering the shop is located on the Central Coast – OPPOSITE a harbour! It’s a shame too because it’s the only fish and chip shop I could find in Gosford!
Rude staff and please change your oil. I agree with the post below, the staff act like they want to be any where but working at Montis ashore.I had Barramundi and potato scallops. The oil taste on the scallops was terrible and they were actually burnt. The fish was ok, but the batter was soggy so I didn’t eat eat it.It would have to be the worst fish and chip shop food I have had in the last few years.
Fantastic food, they just need the staff to be more friendly.
Good Fish N Chips. I love this place great fish & chips they use fresh oil that doesn’t taint food soft good sized fish pieces and crunchy thick chips what a treat. Be prepared to wait 30mins or more but it well worth it.
