The team that brought you The Gallery Cafe in 2013 are relaunching in the new year as Piccolo Restaurant and Cafe in celebration of their new opening hours including dinners on Friday and Saturday nights. The same fantastic seasonal food and atmosphere enjoyed by party goers over the festive period will now be available in the restaurant every week. The menu will continue to feature fresh, local produce, prepared by chef Murray Challacombe who has trained in some of regional Australia's finest kitchens, including Racine at La Colline and Lolli Redini. Freshly ground local coffee, tea and delicious in-house made cakes are served throughout the day from 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Sunday. Join us for a delicious cafe lunch with meals ranging from $8 to $20. Sit beneath the majestic greenery of the courtyard or enjoy the air conditioned comfort of the Prentice House dining room by day and by candlelight at night. On Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm the cafe turns restaurant and chef Murray and his team can really show off their culinary talents. Piccolo's menu changes regularly to showcase local heroes such as Wooli beef, Yamba King Prawns, slow cooked local pork or fresh Clarence Valley berries. Enjoy an unmissable local dining experience with two courses for $40 or three for $50 or join us for a special Lazy Sunday Lunch where we offer our fabulous restaurant menu during the day.
