  Good location in Griffith food was good but it’s hard to find bad Italian in Griffith. Good size servings service was good and the staff was great.

  Pathetic appalling disgusting pizza and service. What happened to a solid favourite. We spent a small fortune and received 3x burnt, rubber bcheese pizzas. The owner was extremely rude.

  Ordinary at best!. As I often come to griffith for work purposes, I have tried all of the apparent Italian restaurants in the area and have failed to find a good one. An authentic Italian restaurant is definitely off the radar in this little town. So when I realised that the belvedere had undergone major surgery, I was tempted to try the iconic ‘Italian’ eatery. I was disappointed! It’s the usual old fanfare that’s been dished up for years. While the restaurant has had a refreshing makeover, I’m afraid to say the food hasn’t. Where’s the carpaccio? The fresh figs? Zucchini flowers? Fresh grated Parmesan at the table? Fresh house made pasta? Since when does a carbonara have cream?? A real carbonara is simply finished with egg. I had a pasta marinara. The pasta wasn’t al dente, the seafood was sub-standard (probably the frozen packet mix) and the whole dish lacked flavour. A dismal dining experience indeed. Belvedere, please do some research on authentic Italian cooking.
