Really good restaurants do really good business it does not matter what day of the week I end up in Griffith and go to La Scala it is always packed it’s a bit of an institution in the Riverina and if your an out of towner well worth seeking it out.Such a pity it is 5 hours from home
It’s the day after and I am still in awe of what entered my mouth last night. Here on business, I was taken here by some local colleagues and at their suggestion had the Polenta Gorgonzola. Every single bit was heaven! We had the Rocket for entree which was really simple yet delicious. I would not hesitate to go here as you will NOT be disappointed!
The pizza here is amazing of course (I love the calabrese pizza!!!) but the panacotta with mixed berries was the REAL STAR of this place. The yummiest consistency and tanginess of berries!
Great family owned Italian place. My co worker and I travelled to Altina for work and headed into Griffith for dinner. La Scala had the best reviews by far so we headed there. Wow this place was packed on a Wednesday night in the small town. We got a table easily and the service was friendly but I little bit slow but could be due to how busy they were. We both got pizzas and they were very tasty and didn’t take long to come out. Definitely recommend this place. And have the yenda beer-it’s yummy!
