Omg Im so addicted to this Portuguese tart. Thought wasnt that tasty since was cold, it was turned out soo soooo nice, next time going to warm it up before eating.
They had a pop up store in the CBD, so I got a Portuguese Tart back to the office for afternoon treat. It was probably too cold to eat straight away, but once it was warmed up in the microwave it was completely irresistible! Inside the soft pastry & brle top, the custard in the middle was googy & smooth, just right sweetness level, so that it’s satisfying without being an indulgent. It was a bit pricy, but will definitely get another 1 or 2 or 3 if I ever see them again!
The best caf in Gymea! Awesome food, authentic portoghese! I love the quality of their products… I strongly suggest cappuccino and croissant.
This small bakery serves wholesome sandwiches with good quality bread + delicous Portuguese tarts (soft creamy custard centre and crisp pastry edges)! Keen to go back and try their other sweets and savoury pastries. They also do a decent coffee and chai latte. Definitely worth a visit.
A new low in customer service. Strange to feel unwelcome in a cafe, thankfully that doesn’t happen often.Won’t go here again as there are many other nearby options.
Tried these beautiful little Portuguese tarts while I was in town for the Beer and BBQ festival! Available in salted caramel or hazlenut ( I got SC), the flaky pastry and nice soft baked custard worked beautifully. The bitter sweet caramel was a great offset to the rich custard.
They had a pop-up stall at the Miranda Westfields so we decided to try one of their custard tarts and we were not disappointed.Crispy and flaky pastry with delicious custard filling, with a sprinkling of cinnamon by the lovely staff. Absolutely delicious! I would definitely pop into the bakery just for these bad boys. Highly recommend.
