I liked this place a lot. It was quiet on a Tuesday night which made it easy to talk. I had a lovely Pinot noir and delicious Oreo ice cream smores. The decor was kinda blue shabby chic and ambient. Staff were friendly and service was polite and not intrusive. Id recommend it and not sure why the rating is not higher. Conveniently close to Newtown station too.

Went for a friends birthday and was truly a disappointment. We ordered chicken skewers, steak, polenta chips, wedges and their vegan hotdog. The vegan hotdog was very small, dry, tasteless and came with a measly amount of dry wedges (no sauce). The chicken skewers were tiny and overpriced The polenta chips were nothing to write home about. Tasted ok but were saltier than the sea.The steak looked nicely cooked and my friend said it was pretty good. Overall not good value for money, customer service was quite unprofessional and we left feeling hungry. Not a great dining experience. 2 thumbs down

nice ambience, quiet, easygoing bartender = chill service and experience for a casual sunday night. candles are a nice touch too. only had a glass of white wine honestly but it was the first one on the list – cant remember name but it was yum. wouldve liked some music playing.
