Martini’s one of the longest standing south Newtown cafes but it’s kept up with food trends and service improvements. The breakfast menu is still fairly standard but there are a lot of options, they come together well, and you get a lot for the price (I had a big bowl of potato cakes with egg, salmon and salad). The coffee’s hot and flavoursome, although not the heavy rich kind that I prefer. Staff are great.
