Single Rosetta is a lovely local stop off in Haberfield. New owner/management make it the best place to go on your coffee break. Yummy food, nice coffee and importantly – enjoyable service.
No fancy coffee art but the barista makes an excellent Campos coffee. Single Rosetta also offers single origin beans that change on a regular basis for those coffee connoisseurs looking to try a different bean. Really friendly staff and nice ambience with both an indoor and outdoor dining area.
At 7am this morning I needed a good coffee and a quick breakfast before driving back to Melbourne. The coffee was excellent; the Breaky Roll was good; I bought a second strong coffee, which sustained me to Wodonga. Thank you Danny and best wishes for your Cafe.
Waited 25mins for an iced coffee on a Saturday morning recently. I kid you not, I timed it. I was fuming by the time I got it. My coffee sat on the counter for ages, ready to put into the blender yet the new owner (?) was taking out plates at one point even though there were enough out. Perhaps get to the orders first and let the barista take care of that…when it’s needed. My iced coffee was loaded with icecream which I think is weird as I’ve never had it made like that at any other cafe. At one point I saw one of the girls pick up something off the floor with her fingers and continued on making food without washing up. She was also taking bread out of the grill without tongs or gloves on. The kitchen is too small an area to have 4 people in there though one of the girls was just there to look pretty as she wasn’t doing anything. She attempted to make the iced coffee but she was so slow the other girl had to take over.
Under new management boss Danny was super accommodating. I wanted an off menu special order and my girlfriend has intolerances. Anyhow they went above and beyond to make us happy. My girlfriends breakfast was amazing and so was mine (even if it was just egg whites and toast but hey that’s what I wanted!)…Coffee was the best! And they had almond milk for my friend. Thanks and we will be back..
The coffee here is fantastic and worth a visit for that alone. Breakfast was a little slow in coming, and I was a bit edgy because my first choice was sold out (at 10.30 on a sunday??). All was forgiven as soon as the food arrived, we both had the pea, prosciutto and poached egg, which was delicious. Perfectly poached eggs, salty prosciutto and sweet pea and avocado puree. Will be back for sure.
Since the arrival of Krys and Cam the menu has had a fresh and modern shake up, and I haven’t found anywhere in the area that does better coffee.
