The Exchange Hotel is a cool pub in Hamilton, Newcastle, NSW. I’m not sure when but it’s been renovated and has a really cool look and feel about it and feels pretty fresh.Goodtime Burgers is a great fit for this place. And actually would be a great addition to any hotel, pub, brewery, or anywhere similar. It’s great food to have a beer with.
Never visited the old exchange but now that Goodtime Burgers have taken over the bistro it’s food is amazing! I got one of the brand new supercharged Schnitzels and I really loved it! Good job guys on the new concept
This was one of the worst pub meals I have had in a long time. Â The ingredient combinations are weird i.e. mexican schnitzel, the food seemed like it was the sort of cheap stuff bought in and just fried on the premises i.e. fish n chips and salt and pepper squid was worse than a kids meal. Â There were more than 10 of us and no one really enjoyed their meal. The dining area was virtually empty, which really should have been a warning sign. Â I don’t know how the restaurant is sustainable with such a poor quality offering. Â They could do so much better – spend a bit more on quality ingredients, innovate a bit and care about what you are serving up.
