This place is a great spot for an after work drink, pub bite or even as a starting point for a group of people heading out in the city. We were here for the happy hour mid week and it was a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink after a tough day at the office ($5.50 beer and wine). We stayed in the downstairs section, which is very sports barish – a lot of memoribelia, screens with sport and a TAB service in the corner. Drinks here are very reasonable esp. at happy hour which goes until 7pm. Drop in after work, have a drink and partake in a bit of banter if sports bars are your thing
Stayed near here last week & tried this place for dinner. The meals were excellent. We had the Sirloin steak & Grilled Seafood platter & both were delicious, perfectly cooked & well presented. Highly recommend the meals here!
I recently enjoyed a fantastic night at 80 Proof. I popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying all night! The DJs were awesome, staff were friendly and the 80 Proof Ice Tea was sensational. I think I’ll become a regular!
Amazing food coupled with amazing beer. Wasn’t too loud, lights were dimmed, but still enough to see. Really like this place. Have been back many times, Great vibe with friendly and attentive staff and generous portions of food. 🙂

I liked friendly staffs behind the bar. Playing old jazz and bit of new stuffs too. If you visiting this bar sometime soon, try their 80proof icedtea. Easy to drink also the colours beautiful.
Great food and cocktail happy hour. I was here on the weekend with my friends. We didn’t know about their cocktail happy hour before we came in, so you all could only imagine our excitement when the bartender told us that all cocktails on their menu were $10 till 8pm. The passionfruit caprihinia and their 80 Proof Ice Tea were amazing! We ended up ordering some meals as well, which we really enjoyed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had gluten free options on their menu too. Overall, Im really glad we decided to come here that night. Food, drinks and staff were great so we will be back very soon for sure!
