Food is pretty good but pricey. They gave 4 side dishes. We ordered the house fried chicken, soft tofu soup, bulgogi soup and tobukki with noodle. For me, nothing special for the fried chicken but all of us love the tobukki with noodle. Side dishes are so so, nothing special.

Conveniently located in the city, Basax will be my new go to place for Korean Fried Chicken! We ordered the original Basax fried chicken, the sweet chilli and the soy garlic. The original BFC was amazing!! Super crispy and delicious, couldnt stop myself stuffing my face with it while alternating with the sweet chilli chicken as well. The soy garlic was alright, but definitely the star of the night was the BFC and sweet chilli.I was super hungry during dinner and forgot to take pictures of the tteokbokki. Cheese and yummy tteokbokki, how can I resist. They also have a happy hour promotion now that lasts till 8pm so what better to accompany fried chicken but $5 beer! Also if youre ordering a few sets of chicken, I would recommend getting one with the boneless option as they come with some waffle fries that is a good change to just having the whole chicken alone.Basax is currently on Scoopon which you can get a good voucher deal on!(sorry for the subpar quality pictures, I clean forgot to take any good ones )

Workmate and I were searching for a place to eat for lunch and this restaurant came up on EatClub. Usually not a fan of Korean food, I do love myself a fried chicken so we booked and off we went. Greeted by a friendly server and a nice jug of cold water was brought over. Needed it as it was a scorcher of a day. Lots of booth seating available and decorated with cartoon like sayings pictures.I went with a lunch special of Snowing a Cheese Boneless Chicken which came with Waffle Chips + Salad. Lots of crunchy pieces of fried chicken covered in dried parmesan and a balsamic type glaze. There was plenty of food to keep you satisfied. It was tasty and waffle fries were great too. My workmate had the Spicy Pork Ramen. She enjoyed it a lot as she likes spicy food and told me lots of spice was coming from the pepper in it.

One of the best lunch Ive had this week! This place serving simple Korean fried chicken but done right.Nothing can be improve, perfect as it is.Boneless sweet and spicy chicken for myself, served with a little coleslaw and waffle fries.Waffle fries is crunchy,, the slaw is well balanced to cut through the greasiness.Well done!

Mmmm best Korean fried chicken Ive had in the city! I highly recommend this joint. We got a groupon and was meant to eat in but due to poor weather conditions I wanted to get takeaway instead. The staff were very accommodating to this request despite the groupon conditions. Ordered the whole fried original chicken and the oven spicy chicken. Both of these tasted delicious. My experience with a lot of korean joints is that the flavours are generally really whacky and taste off – I really enjoyed the flavours of these. The only downfall was it was pretty overcooked – I suspect it was because I got takeaway so perhaps it kept cooking inside the container. The chilli mayo sauce was delicious too! Ill definitely be back here for dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommend this place.

This is a really great restaurant for delicious juicy Korean fried chicken. I had the sweet and spicy flavour which wasnt too spicy and the chicken itself was really well cooked. I also tried the cheese tteokbokki (rice cake) and the bulgogi (beef) stew both of which were really delicious. Happy to come back to try their other chicken flavours and dishes!!
