The glowing reviews for this interesting place really do it justice and it lives up to the hype. Such amazing tasty Thai food at such an amazing price. The Tom Yum was an absolute hit amongst everyone, and every dish ordered did not fail one bit. The grocery store setting is quirky and fun. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

Pretty surprised this place has such glowing reviews. Came here for lunch with a friend of mine and we were very unsatisfied with the food quality. I got the stir fry pork mince and squid and basil and my friend got the mushroom egg noodle. My dish was extremely salty and lacked any flavour. I felt like I was just eating salt on a spoon. I couldnt finish it. Egg was also extremely overcooked and had so much oil still on it. My friend was also unimpressed with her dish. This lacked any good flavour and was too slimy for her liking. My drink was also pretty mediocre. got a green tea latte – this was very light in green tea and super milky. With so many milk tea places around, I think Ill skip coming back to this one.

Nice little Thai cafe, also a grocery shop, that you can go to for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only came here for dessert though. We got the matcha shaved ice with toast and pandan toast. Bother were very flavourful and I loved how the shaved iced was fully flavoured with matcha. Would definitely come back to check out their morning and lunch/dinner menu!

I love Thai food and Boon caf is a part of Chat Thai and I love Chat Thai! Loved everything we ordered, especially Yum Woon Sen, even though it was really spicy but it was so addictive that I couldnt stop eating it.

Boon Cafe is a popular cafe serving Thai cuisine with a modern twist. We ordered the big boon breakfast, pork skewers with sticky rice, Thai red milk tea and pandan custard toast for dessert. We ended up sharing everything. Food and drinks were delicious and value for money. The big boon breakfast tasting tray consisted of congee, skewered pork, baked eggs, bacon, mushroom, avocado and toast. It was fantastic to have a little bit of everything. Congee for breakfast is always so comforting, and I also liked how the smashed avocado had a little spice kick to it. The pork skewers and sticky rice really hit the spot. You cant go wrong with tender sweet pork skewers and savoury sticky rice. Its an absolute steal for $7, and a decent serving size. As for the pandan custard toast this was an excellent way to finish off our meals. We loved the flavour and sweetness of the pandan custard, and I recommend getting this to share! Overall I rate Boon Cafe 1/2 out of 5.

Really good food, atmosphere and service!Joining it, is a grocer so it was nice to look around, and peruse Asian dishes and treats!Thai food at its finest!Ordered pineapple fried rice, and a red tea.. was hoping they had sweet black tea but the red was quite similar ..didn’t really like the sultanas they put in the rice !

2.5/5 Boon cafe has such good reviews so I was excited to try it out. I ordered the avocado on toast & a pandan ice drink. The egg was over cooked & cold, not what I expected from a popular cafe. The avocado & salad on toast was however generous & good. My pandan ice drink was okay but the serving was small. Service was average.
