Food court laksa at restaurant prices. The chef might be happy but the counter person was very surly. The laksa soup was ok but seemed pretty light on flavour and not at all spicy. The special combination laksa certainly had a lot of ingredients but finding quality ones among them was difficult – the chicken and pork were particularly chewy. It was a big bowl, more than I could eat, but the prices seem rather high for a grubby food court. I haven’t actually had much laksa lately to compare it to but I’ve had a lot of good ramen and pho and it’s usually been cheaper than Happy Chef.
Always a go to option for me when in Chinatown and I usually always go for the BBQ Pork Wonton Noodle Soup. Plain, but it always hits the spot and satisfies my soup noodle cravings.
This place never disappoints. The food is always on point whenever I come here. Great for a casaul feed. If you haven’t been, you MUST try the chicken laksa which is $11 – an absolute bargain. I got the laksa with egg noodles. Add some chili if you don’t mind some heat! Also great is the wonton noodle soup which is $10.80. make sure you eat it quick before the noodles stick to each other.
Nice little restaurant in a Food Court in Sydney’s Chinatown!I went for a Tofu and Veggie Laksa and it didn’t disappointed! You can choose the type of noodles and it’s a big portion!Good quality – price.
