Its malaysian restaurant that we feel is pricy. The food is good but not a fan because we know rhe original price and when come here is more pricy than we thought. But overall is good
Absolutely delicious and stunning food. This restaurant offers a variety of authentic Malaysian food. We ordered the Michael Jackson soy drink, Hainan chicken laksa, chicken satay skewers, prawn char hor fun and the char koay teow. Everything was full of flavour, generous portions and fresh.
Took me too long to try this place, especially since I’ve been following Junda on instagram for a while now, but the crazy lines were a little off-putting.
Even just after 2 visits, Ho Jiak has simply become one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. Their menu is so extensive and you really cant go wrong with anything. I love what they’ve done with the classics, adding premium ingredients while maintaining authentic flavours. Produce used here is fantastic, especially considering the price. Definitely no surprise that it’s become such a hit so quickly. I will undoubtedly be back frequently, and add a detailed review in future.
In meantime, would advise going at a non-peak time as service can get a little choppy when its very busy.
