Service took ages hereFood was average, beef meat wasnt tender, overcooked and chewyThe staff was pleasant and made it relatively fun so they saved a lot of points hereOtherwise food not that great

Was really surprised at how nice the food was here! The place was empty, which made us very apprehensive , yet we loved everything ordered and our teppanyaki chef was so entertaining! Don’t be put off by the old exterior/ interior! $6 corkage per bottle of wine. Order tempura !

We went here exactly at noon on a weekday some time ago, and the place was deserted! There were 3 staff members who kept pacing around like Tasmanian devils. This should have been enough indication for us to leave the place, but contrary to our intuition, we decided to stay! This place is in the basement. It was probably 25 deg cel outside, but in there it felt like a humid 30+. It neither had an A/C nor any fans. Since it was lunch, we didn’t want to make it too heavy a meal. I ordered okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) and my wife ordered chicken teriyaki lunch special. When finally the kitchen staff arrived at our table (Teppan), which was after a good 15 minutes, although we were the only ones in there, he cooked the 2 dishes at his own leisurely pace. He cooked them one after the other, although there was enough room for both dishes to be cooked simultaneously on the teppan, this meant that we had to share and eat the one dish that was served. The portions he served were certainly smaller than most other places. The miso soup and green tea was barely warm. The taste and quality was average. Service in general was quite tardy, and only 1 of the 3 guys working there could understand English. We might have been there for about 45 minutes, but no other guests turned up during that time. Won’t be going there again!

Great place. The food was amazing. Went with some friends for dinner. The menu was so reasonably priced and the food and hospitality was impeccable. Very hygienic and cozy. Wouldn’t mind visiting again.

Fun and Yum. Staff couldn’t have been nicer and they certainly put on a fun show. I think the price was certainly reasonable and the food was good.

The food is not worth the price!!! Never eat at a Japanese joint where the cook is Chinese! All the food was too salty!! Inedible. Far from Japanese teppanyaki. It’s a joke.

Fun: Thumbs up, Food: Thumbs down. Went here with a group of 12 for a Birthday, and we had great fun. Ordered the $41 banquet and the food is not nearly worth the price. However, you don’t really come here for the food. It’s a place to go for the entertainment (Bowl, egg, fried rice throwing etc), especially for big groups that want an alternative to sit-down dinner.
