I ordered the Crispy Chicken rice from Jade. The place is quite ambient and you can see the chefs cooking. Overall, the chicken is cooked nicely and I love the chilli sauce that comes with it, the chicken to rice ratio is not right and there should be more chicken or less rice. Overall, average for the price range.
This resturant is a mix style of Malaysian and hongkong dish. It sounds special. We ordered a pineapple fired rice which is OK; Stir fired Vegetables won’t go wrong; beef brisket in claypot which is tender and less taste; fish head in curry claypot which is not often to be seen on the market, it taste good but not impressive; Golden pumpkin which is amazing if go with alcohol; deep fried chicken wing is surprisingly awesome. I think their chef is good at deep fired dish. Next time I will try some more deep fired dish from this resturant. And their Manu is so interesting as well. They offer a chaozhou style of riceroll which is seldom seen in the market. I have to go try it for my lunch.
After years trying Malaysian foods, I decided to give this dish ( only 1 dish, currently ) 1 Star.I might be chosen the wrong dish but it might affect the whole menu that served here.Chicken rendang served with coconut rice.damaged was $13.80Authentic dish? Far from it.I know some twist and tweet need to be implemented, but stick with original recipes ( or as close as possible in term of flavour )!Coconut rice wasnt have this bang wow factor that the fragrant of coconut is coming up when the out the dish in front of you. From there I knew I chose the wrong dish!Chicken is served with bone, and not much meat on that chicken, which is fine as long the flavour is bang on.
