Don’t understand why this outlet is so quiet vs the dinner time traffic at the others in this food court. I got their maocai beef combo, which came in a massive bowl of soup with bamboo shoots, enoki mushrooms & bok choy. For $12.80, the serving was pretty big, heaps of meat too. The soup tasted pretty good, you can choose spiciness level as well. The only negative is that the beef tasted like they were soaked in baking powder to soften & make bigger, which you can really taste through.

Gong Bao chicken meal, cost you $ 14.80.Come with rice and soup. This historical dish from Qing Dynasty back dated in 1866, was presented for Chinese official in Sichuan province, China. One of my favorite Sichuan food, introduced me when I was working in Beijing some years ago.The combo of dice chicken, Szechuan pepper, peanut, leek and black vinegar, Shaoxing cooking wine was stir fried harmoniously in a wok, and the aroma making your mouth water.I had a better version before, because even though this dish was good, they are holding back on the level of spiciness and Szechuan pepper, that give you hot and numbness on your taste bud.

A hidden gem offering delicious Sichuan food. The combo price ranges between $12-16, and it is super sumptuous and satisfying! The quality of the meats, veggies and rice are premium. You can choose the level of spicy that you prefer. If you are not super hungry I recommend 2 people share 1 combo, just order one extra bowl of rice or noodle. It is located in the food court so minus 1 star for the ambience. But if you are going for food quality and value for money, this is great. Ericson Chow
