Came with the family. Ordered some different rotis (roti planta, roti telur and roti tisu), nasi lemak fried chicken and beef satay. Food was good but nowhere near the true top level mamaks of Malaysia. Noisy and service was average. I’m not sure the dining experience really justifies the queue that I saw outside the front when we left.

One of the go-to Malaysian restaurants for some amazing paper-thin, flaky roti or some spicy curry with rice. They have weekday lunch options ($11+), which are slightly cheaper and served with rice.Be wary of visiting during peak hours, as there will be a long line outside but there are actually empty tables inside. They appear to be under-staffed so even when they have already cleared and prepped the tables, staff aren’t available to herd the next round of customers in and it will take some time to flag someone to take orders.

Mamak just like how my grandmother made it!The quality of the dishes was really presentable and delicious. We had 4 different dishes to eat, the martabak was the heaviest one. Staff was great, welcoming and friendly. During that time the place was packed, the food took a bit longer but they made sure that the food comes out nicely. The restaurant looks old school and gives the vibe of Malaysia and Indonesian restaurant. Reminds me when I was dining in Jakarta.

After being a loyal customer since it’s opening and coming to dine here regularly, today I was totally disgusted at the way I was treated as a customer. The restaurant was half full and we were shown to a small table by the wall. I explained politely to the waiter that I would like a larger table as when I order five or more dishes, the table in inadequate to accommodate all the dishes. He simply refused to allow us to move to any of the many other empty tables. This is very poor customer service – especially to someone as loyal as myself. I hope your management is reading this! The price of Curry Ayam has gone up to $18 for five small pieces of chicken on the bone and the rest potato. Mamak use to be the only place to eat But there are now other are better places to eat and they also value their guests! Just look at how many 1 star ratings you are getting from customers that now wont ever dine with you. Mamak can now loose me and many others as a customers as their attitude and poor customer service is only one of the reasons I won’t be going back there to dine again.

Everybody I know comes here for the roti canai; being Malaysian (and seeing I know how to make roti myself), the main drawcard for me, frankly, is the rojak mamak which is often just too bothersome to make in small quantities at home – I love the light and crispy texture of the fritters and the perfect balance of sweetness and spice in the sauce.

Have been visiting this venue several times. Tried their roti bawang, roti telur bawang and the curry but the favourite so far is ayam berempah. Their mee goreng was quite yum too. This popular venue could be busy with customers during lunch time so you might wanna arrive early.

The place is always busy. We ordered roti canai, nasi lemak, ayam goreng, lamb curry, and roti pisang with vanilla ice cream. Roti canai comes with chicken curry and dahl (somekind of lentils soup), the roti tastes amazing. Very buttery! The nasi lemak was good especially with lamb curry on the side, the fried chicken was very tender inside and super crispy on the outside. Roti pisang was remarkable, the roti is very crispy and the pisang i sweet plus the ice cream makes it a perfect combo!
