A small eatery that fills up really quickly as they are pretty popular. Easy to order and modify your food as there are many different choices to choose from. The order comes out a bit slow, maybe around 20 to 30 minutes on a busy day?$5 extra charge for byo.
Wasn’t a big fan of the stir fry (it had nice punchy flavours but might have to order some rice to eat with next time) , everyone was fanning over the soupy hot pot with noodles though as it was really tasty!! Is it weird that for some reason I found the cold water they served bloody delicious ?

Oh my goodness, I am obsessed with Maopai. Absolutely perfect for a cold winter’s night! Serving sizes are generous and the flavours are hearty and robust. Most of the menu is in Mandarin however the staff are very friendly and are happy to translate. I will definitely be here again!
The food is great  and when the waiter says its spicy then my suggestion is to listen to their advice and choose wisely, place is a little cramped but services is adequate.  Would recommend a try.
