Pretty attentive staff and really yummy side dishes. Usually the Korean side dishes are a hit and miss for me but I enjoyed the selection that I was served. We ordered the beef short rib and spicy squid with noodles. Both tasted pretty yummy. My partner had the beef short rib – he said it had really good flavour and the beef fell off the bone. Only criticism was that the veggies were raw and just thrown on the top which meant they didnt really have much flavour and were a little raw. The spicy squid with noodles were above average. Noodles were super silky and soft and when you mixed it with the sauce, you could just slurp up all its goodness. It also had a little bit of spice which elevated the dish. Service was also pretty attentive.Overall, Id give it a 3.5 if I could – a bit on the pricier side for what was offered. (~$60 for 2 dishes). Food was decent enough to not to be too disappointed with the price though…and we had leftovers!
I’ve been here for 3 times already. Everything was good for all 2 previous times but I won’t be back here again after today. The taste of foods was average nothing special. Service was very poor inattentive at all. Keep asked for 3-4 times for taking an order. Took so long for foods served. And lastly the third very disappointed on this time was when we got a bill and we’ve found that they overcharged us for $10 for the things that we haven’t order but they’d assured that we did. So we were too disgusting to explain anymore just tell them that if they want us to pay so we will pay for it but please keeps in mind you guys are the tricky one ever. If it will make you rich by cheating on us only that amount of money so just do it.
Had crab tofu soup, black bean noodles and kimchi pancake. overall the food is good, staffs are friendly and value for money. Like the crab tofu soup the best and will definitely go back to try something else
The service was absolutely awful- my family paid and already left the restaurant when the waitress came and accused us of not paying! We walked back in to find the whole staff on the table just staring (not even trying to solve the problem, just staring and eating). We would understand if they spoke to us nicely but she just waved her hand (didnt even look or say anything) to us in a very condescending manner even while we were getting out the receipt. Then after seeing the receipt she just simply said oh u paid sorry like what?! No real apology after that embarrassment?? Would never go back even if the food was good and free!!
Brought out of town guests to this place as we enjoy it whenever we watch shows at the theatre. Everything was good, the owner herself attended to us and taught us how to partake of some of the menu items. One downside though was the male waitstaff whom we asked about portion sizes. He kept saying every order was only good for one person when it could feed 2-3 people easily. We ended up taking the rest of the food home as it was too good and wasteful to leave behind. It cost us a lot more than we would have if he understood what we were asking.
Tteokbokki was delicious! Aswell as the kimchi pancakes, good quick service! Would go again! We ordered soup surf only a little bit of chilli and it definitely suited our taste!
