Eating World Food Court , located in Chinatown, is one of the best food courts in Sydney. The shops are mostly Asian and from what I’ve heard they’re not just your standard food-court food . Since we’re suckers for anything home-made, we ordered a few things off of Oriental Dumpling King’s menu while slurping down ramen from Gumshara.Although I appreciate the two endearing ladies making fresh dumplings behind the window and the rustic vibe the place gave off , their dumplings unfortunately weren’t all that special. Both Shanghai pork dumplings and crystal prawn dumplings were pleaded beautifully but they were thick and doughy . The fillings were moist and juicy but very salty. I might return next time on an empty stomach and try their hand-pulled noodles instead ! And perhaps give these dumplings another go. instagram.com
