I’ve been a sort of regular at Pho Pasteur at Haymarket for some time but just never remembered to take some photos to support the review. I sure didn’t pick a good day for it. I ordered a large pho bo dac biet. It appeared within a couple of minutes and looked a big serve. Unfortunately, it just didn’t tick any boxes today. The soup was flat – no sweetness in it at all and the meat felt like leftovers or offcuts. The biggest piece of tendon was about the size of a five cent coin and there was literally one thin strip of tripe. The brisket felt like offcuts. I was in a kind mood so it got three stars. Not convinced it deserved that.
