Checked out the newly open eateries at Steam Mill Lane. The burger joint was too busy so we ended up at Ricefields where you can pick individual dishes as you fancy. I had the fried rice, sweet and sour pork and curry beef. Very easy to over order but luckily I didn’t, so full after these few! theengineereats.com

The food was below average, however price was very unreasonable. You could get better option at a reasonable price in market city or Chinatown.

Venue looked pretty cool however the food didnt match expectations. You could go to Chinatown up the road for a meal half the price and better quality. I had a seafood curry and bbq pork with rice. The bbq pork mustve been sitting out there for a while because it was dry. The curry was nice however the serving small. They had challenges with the eftpos terminal so there was a queue just to pay. Id recommend people walk the extra 5 minutes to market city and grab an authentic unpretentious meal.

Tapas style Taiwanese dishes.Place is very posh, clean and slightly empty when I came in.Just come to try, and Im not disappointed at all.All flavour was good, highlight was the the Japanese tofu with peanuts, and spicy cold chicken. Its satisfying dishes but not enough to makes you full. You will end up spending more than you should because they charge by the portion that you have and because its so small you keep adding extra yummy dishes.Papaya Jelly as dessert is nice to end the meal

Tried this new place at Steam Mill Lane. Service was good. A decent amount of seating inside. Decent food with okay portions. Service wasn’t perfect as one worker served me to get the food, then another worker accepted my payment, then the person that served me food wanted payment again. There was a lack of communication there between the workers.
