Been here for the first time and won’t come back again. I came along with two friends and we ordered 3 different dishes and shared it together ( Mongolian beef , salt n pepper squid, chili oil fish) Taste wasn’t great, squid and fish tasted like they’ve been frozen for 3 months before serving you almost taste like deep fried eraser has no seafood flavor at all, beef tasted okay but still you can get something like this with half the price in a takeaway food court. Like if you wanted to open a restaurant try source fresh ingredients not the frozen one.
Fast, cheap chinese food that is made to order.I felt like a thin sliced beef with chilli oil sauce. It definitely hit the spot, just enough chilli’s and numbness with beef that was tender and not tough.Food came out within 5 minutes and if there is no space to eat you can sit at the noodle shop next door (looks like they might be owned by the same people or share the same kitchen – who knows).
This place is cheap as chips and rather tasty. When you are craving for something satisfying and filling or you’re on a site string budget, this is a good place to come and feed yourself for cheap. Sometimes, just sometimes, cheap eat is the most therapeutic thing for the soul. Have you had those moments when… cooking is so mich more of an effort, and buying ingredients to cook is going to cost more than buying a bowl of wonton noodles and being served the food to you. It’s a very local key eatery, with thrown together interior, and if you can over look that, you will be rewarded with a satisfying meal. If you don’t feel like eating noodles, you can head next door which belongs to the same people I guess, and order a stir fried dish that comes on a hot plate. Because it is Sichuan cuisine, it tends to be on the more spicier side (so if you cannot take spice, this eatery might be an issue). The choice of dishes are endless. You could come here once a week and not get through the whole menu! Never a dull palate moment.
This used to be such a great little eatery. Had something like spicy beef with noodles, their most popular dish, tonight. Might the the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten a lot. Not recommended.
They offer quick service and really generous servings. The food is spicier than other Asian restaurants in town. Good value for money. Do not have high expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised.
If you like spicy food – the tasty and spicy prawns should definitely be on your list of things to try! Generous portions and really well cooked prawns
I had the Sichuan pepper lamb which looked quite nice when it was served sizzling on the plate. The taste of the meat was good, but the vegetables were fairly average tasting and there was far too much onion. Taking the onion out, there isn’t much left on the plate. Service was prompt and food for our group of 5 was served in under 10 minutes. The restaurant was reasonably busy. There are tables for 2, 4 and 6 but it was still a bit tricky to find a table for our group because of one or two people sitting at the larger tables. They also use the Rewardle system, which from memory will give you a free drink after 4 or 5 meals. Overall a satisfactory experience. I may return to try a different dish.
