So the rumors are true…Nothing to complain about when you’ve only paid a $10 lunch but my dollars could have gotten more of its worth if I’ve put it somewhere else. its glad to know that they use less salt and use no msg but its not an excuse not to have a nice dish.
come here after school and order from their 10$ menu bento, it’s not the best bento i had but it match the price, the rice was not really warm but chicken taste nice.
The complaints about this place is true as the service is lousy and the portion of the bento box is not filling at all. I ordered the chicken wing bento box with tofu, salad and pickles. I just stated I wanted the bento box and some water but the waitress also put down salmon WHICH I didn’t order!. I thought the rice was abit to dry and not much flavour at all on the salad and a few pieces of seaweed and Edamame. The salmon was OK but not that fresh and abit to chewy, the chicken wings were mainly bones and hardly any meat at all on them enough for maybe two bites each and that’s it. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone and definitely won’t be coming back after they stuffed up my order and the small portion which I was still hungry afterwards.
Ordered karaage chicken ramen and takoyaki. The ramen arrived first. Waitress told us to wait for the meat. It would have been preferred if the main meal arrived all at once rather than waiting an extra 15mins for the meat to arrive. Takoyaki took a further 10mins or so to arrive on our table. Two of my friends finished their meals and 2mins later the waitress asked to take their bowls away while I was still eating mine. Another 2mins has gone by and they placed the bill on our table as I was still eating my meal. I felt rushed and highly uncomfortable as if they were trying to kick us out. Waitresses kept watching our table to see if I had finished so they could clean up.The restuarant was relatively clean. The main meal was particularly salty. The takoyaki was perfect. The main issue here was the service. They asked us how much we paid when she was holding the money. Until we told her the amount, she entered it into the machine and gave us the change.Overal experience: not enjoyable but tolerable
I had the worst dining experience ever in this restaurant. The owners(Chinese couple) don’t respect customers and even insulted me.Firstly, the food was over-priced and the taste was not good. I was expecting more amount of food from a $10 bento but it’s seriously small and teriyaki chicken I had was almost like meatless bones.I was insulted by them for asking for a double check on my bill and the Chinese woman said to me ‘You don’t have money’, ‘I feel sorry & shame for you’ etc in a condescending tone, even though I had enough money and was asking for a fair amount of charge on my dish. I’m sure it could’ve been dealt in a much better way if they had been more self-aware of their bad customer service.I’m seriously upset about the way they treated me and I think they don’t even deserve ‘one star’ on this review.Never go to this restaurant if you want there to be an owner who actually cares about her customers!
