Its amazing how stir fry and noodle places surround this place, even more amazing that they are just as busy as this one. During peak periods there is always a wait, and as your patience is pushed toy the limit until your number is called and you remember why you this you chose this place instead of the others.
This place is a hidden gem. It offers a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, which come with free rice and soup. I ordered a whole steamed fish with shallots and garlic, and free rice. All for $11.50. The fish was huge and generous and filled with flavour.
This place is always packed, affordable and looks old school so I decided to try this establishment. The place is really small, the service is a bit slow and the server is really quiet. It takes more than 40 minutes to get their salt and pepper chicken. But that wait was worth the wait, the chicken is amazing! The batter is light and the chicken is salty and savoury. This place is a hidden gem!
Good food at a decent price with healthy portion sizes. The little eatery stand proud amongst the plethora of choices customers have at the food courts of Chinatown
