Oh my! The reason I give it a low score despite liking the butter chicken is finding a sharp piece of bone on the chicken,it was my first mouthful! The Kadai chicken didn’t do anything for me. The onion pakora was barely warm and the curry puff felt like it was more puff than filling Disappointed
We didn’t know what to eat coming in DFO Homebush, but we wanted to have some meal before busy lunch time…so we took our seats and choose something…This place caught my eye and we tried few on the menu… All of them were good…but we actually came back for seconds and thirds for the Chicken Tandoori and the Spinach Paratha…they were to die for indeed…
Paneer kulcha parata and the gobi parata were to die for. And so is the lassi. Strongly recommend. I have no idea what the current rating stands for.
We came across this place in the food court of dfo on level 1. We ordered for two curries with white rice. I ordered for butter chicken and dal makhani. My hubby ordered for chicken madras with lamb kadai. Both were tasty and the quantity too was good. Also ordered for papad and chicken tikka. Again it was good.Service too was quick as the food was already prepared and pricing is bit high considering its in the food court. But the quality of food was superior will definitely have more from here.
The wraps are really good. The wraps are freshly made and really soft. We tried the chicken tikka wrap and really liked it. Plus it’s priced well too.
I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian/Nepalese restaurants (and takeaway joints) and this place is by far the best! Everything about the food is authentic, from the variety on offer and the texture of the food to the pots they are presented in.I had the Punjab Chicken and Mixed vegetable curries along with jasmine rice, and the taste was both authentic and amazing! You don’t get the watered down/cheap curries with this restaurant. Instead you get colour rich (just like in India) and you get taste-rich (but not over the top) curries. The portions were also quite reasonable.I wish that it was a full-sized restaurant so that they could offer a larger variety of dishes. Don’t be put off by the extra $1 or $2 that you have to pay per dish. It’s totally worth it. They accept EFTPOS.
