I cannot recommend is place at all because all the fried seafood is PRE-COOKED and PRE-FRIED! They don’t batter it fresh like, y’know, every other fish n’ chips shop on the planet?!?They do not hide this fact, the pre-fried seafood is on display. I was wondering what the pre-fried food on display was for untilI watched the fish and prawn I ordered get taken from this pre-fried stuff and thrown into the fryer!Needless to say, the result just isn’t the same as freshly battered. Although crisp, the batter is not light and airy, but is more leathery and chewy.I will never come here again. If you want some great fish and chips done the proper way, find the one in Gladesville on Pittwater Rd. I’ve been going there for a decade and they never disappoint.

I often have cravings for potato scallops and ive had them here and they are pretty good. Crunchy batter and nice insides. Customer service is very neighbourly friendly.
Bad, was served battered fish & chips with calamari rings taste freakin so bad,Forced my self to eat most of it because I was hungry. Not worth your money eat elsewhere. Not sure if it was a bad batch or they don’t make fresh daily.
Come here for your fresh or fried seafood fix! Have ordered takeaway many a times. Good fish and chips and calamari too. Prices can be on the pricey end though so be warned of you are ordering for a big group. Place can get uber busy so be prepped to wait!
Great fish and chips. My mum lives just down the road and I love getting Basil’s when I visit. The food always tastes great and they have very good portion sizes and fair prices.
Great Fish n’ Chips. Fantastic local Fish n’ Chip/Seafood shop with friendly staff. The batter they use on the fish always comes out crisp and crunchy.
