Enjoyed a quick lunch here on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I had the pea and ham soup which was delicious and thick as well as filling. The salami antipasto focaccia was also delicious. Nice friendly management, good menu selection. Will be back.
The best breads and pastries!!. It’s hard to encapsulate what makes Locantro SO great… but it really comes down to the fact that every piece of food they make is made with exquisite care. The fruit flans are always bulging with utterly fresh fruit … you’ll never see a withered strawberry or dried-out slice of kiwi fruit on a Locantro flan. The fruit-bread they make is to die for; the hot cross buns are the best I’ve ever had. Coffee is great, the service is efficient and friendly, and surprisingly, the pricing for everything is remarkably affordable.

Beautiful baked goods- I’m sooo addicted to their desserts, right now a nutella donut!!! Can’t be good for my waistline but what can I do! Also does fantastic fruit tarts and birthday cakes! Only thing is they ate always busy so need to make sure you’re not short on time! Or too late cos their nicest stuff will be sold out by late lunch time
I’ve been going here for almost 7 years now. This is my favourite cafe in Leichhardt. Friendly service, great coffee and wonderful pastries. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.
A big call. This is a BIG call but Locantro servesvthe best coffee in the Inner West. Now before you shout ‘It can’t be,there’s…..’, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.The pastries, bread, pizza slices and pretty much everything else are all made on the premises, and have won many awards. The sour dough and the blueberry pastries are a must.A real treasure not to be missed.
