Service and food terrible. Risotto lacked flavour, penne was supermarket bought (perhaps black and gold brand), tin Parmesan (when you asked for it). The Gallic bread to die for!
Great little restaurant with a warm inviting atmosphere. Have been for dinner and just coffee. The entree and mains were full of flavour and delicious. Great on a warm summers night to sit outside. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food
Quality and service is great. The ambience indoors and outdoors, is so lovely and the wait staff are great. Some of the dishes are DELICIOUS and well cooked, but other dishes are VERY SALTY. I wish I could love everything about it. If they made the dishes less salty I would give it 5. That way, customers could add their own salt if they wanted.
Good little place tucked away in a quiet street in hunters hill. We had breakfast this morning:- smashed avocado – good food. The flavours were all there and the salmon was lovely too. Poached eggs on toast with a side of hash brown. Eggs were good well but the toast, slightly burnt and small 1 slice cut into half. Just another slice would be perfect and less toasted. The coffees were good. Nice place, no pretence, attentive and friendly staff. Will visit again.
This is a nice little hidden gem in the middle of Hunters Hill. My partner and I love Italian food so we wanted to give this a try. We had the day’s special, capaccio as a starter, home made gnocchi and pappardelle. The capaccio was very nice and thin – just a little on the salty side though. My partner liked the gnocchi but I’m not a fan of gnocchi so I didn’t try any. But I really loved the pappardelle I ordered, she had a taste and thought it was great as well. To end the night, we had some coffee and relaxed in the nice vintage and cottage setting. Recommended for a date night!
This place has changed hands so many times I can’t keep up! However, last time I was here they had a pretty mean T-bone steak! Staff are pleasant, although sometimes when they are busy it can be a bit hard to get a hold of them but that’s to be expected. Indoor and outdoor seating. Also serve breakfast now.
Top Tucker. I cannot believe some of the reviews here – many look phony to me.We ate during the week and found every table had kids sitting with parents – well behaved kids.Obviously the place is kid friendly. We had three teenagers. We ate outdoors and what a wondeful setting. They mentioned they were using a new menu. The specials were explained. The food was served in good time with an nice gap between entre and mains. Service was a little laid back if you wanted another beer or water as you had to attract their attention but your request was promptly served. I expect a cursory check every now and again for things that need removing or replacing but not overdone. As the evening progressed and it got darker they rolled out an awning with subdued lighting which added to the ambience – well thought out that one.We all enjoyerd it – its not the cheap but you do get what you pay for……
