The place is in a really good location within Hurstville Westfield. Very open as well, so not much dancing around other tables to get to your seat (which is great as me and my wife had a pram with us). My wife and I came for afternoon tea and the one issue I had was the limited selection of cakes, but the selection they had wasnt too bad. The service was prompt, nice and friendly.
Good location right in the middle of Westfield, Hurstville. We ordered two coffees at $3.80 each but I found that the $0.70 surcharge for soy milk was a little heavy as most other places (even in CBD locations) do it for an extra $0.30-$0.50. Flat white was more like a cappuccino as it had quite a lot of foam but the taste of the coffee was standard and not bad at all. The blueberry bagel ($5.50) was a little dry but that was helped by the cream cheese spread (choice between cream cheese or butter) and it complemented the slight sweetness of the bagel very well. Very friendly and attentive service.
Early Sunday brekkie at Cicco Bar inside Westfield Hurstville. Staff are energetic and very friendly. Highly recommend brekkie burger as it contains most essential breakfast ingredients, like hash brown, bacon, and fried egg. So simple and delicious! The burger benedict is a bit heavy as it has beef patty topped with egg benedict. The Hollandaise sauce (made of egg yolks, lemon, butter) is drizzled over poached eggs. It makes me feel over-egg-loaded. I reckon if they can balance the amount of sauce it’d taste better.
They have the Worst egg Benedict I have ever had. I took two bites, finished coffee and left with an almost full plate. Coffee was ok average.
