Hidden opposite of share tea in the main entrance of the Westfield that replaced the Chef Gallery keeping the exact same features and the furniture yet tables have been renovated for a Korean bbq style. Did not eat KBBQ style but the typical restaurant style if you get me. There are tables for bbq and tables for non-bbq, which is convenient for more food on the table. There is not so much English speaking staff that does not understand English properly when asking where they would go to another staff member. There were more Korean staff member and one Chinese staff member that was convenient since most customer was Chinese.Food is expensive of course since it is Korean.Black bean noodle: a big bowl filled with noodle and black bean sauce and onion, there was too much sauce and onion. It was the food I love. The egg was only a typical one small slice instead of a half. Rating 4/5 Fried chicken: is your typical fried chicken with no seasoning but sesame seed. Kimichi pancake: very spicy for someone who cannot eat chilli food but it was still yummy to continue eating with crispy outside. Not so much oil compared to other places. 5/5 Fried rice: too dry, hard to continue eating because it was way too dry for a typical fried rice. 1.5/5 Sweet and sour chicken: did not like because of the dressing used on the salad that was not sweet but a weird taste. Chicken was okay. 3/5 I did not eat the seafood noodle dish, but I took a photo of it. Ambience: 4.5/5Price: 1/5 (me being a cheapskate) Food: 3.5/5 Staff: 3.5/5 Convenient location: Yes Waiting time: there isnt a waiting as i have not went on a day where I have to wait for a seat. Side dishes was served pretty slow that they almost forgot to serve it. You have to ask for water.
Rating: 3.5/5Atmosphere of the dining area was really good and open, but as it was so loud, pressing the button on the table that is supposed to alert the staff didnt really work so we had to revert back to the old way of putting up our hands until we got noticed. Wasnt a major problem, however. The food came out quite fast. We ordered the family combo, the spicy tofu soup with seafood, black bean noodles. All the bbq combos come with vegetables and a steamed egg but they were both a little underwhelming. The vegetables consisted of a few pieces of lettuce, half a mushroom, one thin slice of pumpkin, and a couple rings of onion. They also forgot to bring out our egg dish until we asked them and when it did arrive it did not seem to have been seasoned. The meat however was good and when cooked right was very tender. Only one of the meat dishes were seasoned but the rest were flavoursome after using the sauce that comes with the sides. The black bean noodles and spicy tofu soup were exactly what we wanted so no complaints for those!
