Made a pit stop for lunch. Place was busy. $3.30 sushi all plates. Once I sat down I found myself asking for a lot. A lot of the basics not to be found. No seared salmon not much attractive yumminess.I ended up only having 2 plates. Didn’t feel like anything else. Place and cleanliness of bench and food prep area didn’t look as clean as that from across the road. Should have just stuck to my usual.
Used to be my favourite place for weekend but not any more. Not sure why they recently hired some extremely rude waitress to serve people. Went there for lunch today at round 11.30, more than half of the place was empty. 2 of us went in and asked if we could sit at the table. The waitress with big glasses was very rude and said that is for 3 or 4 people so we cannot sit there. Thats fine we sat at the sushi train and started eating. Throughout the lunch she was serving food we ordered with extreme impatience and she basically threw everything at the table. And by the time we left, most of the tables were still empty, and they actually did let other group of 2 sit at the table. Very bad experience. I miss the old staffs who served us with a smile. 3 stars for food and 1 for the staff

Love this place, good food and the prices are reasonable. Lots of choices of sushi, service is good, they always greet when entering and leaving. My place to go all the time when im shopping at hurstville.
Price is good but food was not good! Food was cold. Asked for another plate but staff just microwaved my plate and gave it back to me. My grilled salmon was cooked instead
New owners are fantistic – True Authentic Sushi in Hurstville at last! Great times for dinner BYO, not only is it the best sushi in Hurstville, it’s one of the best in Sydney. Prompt service, great range and quality food makes this my go-to place for lunch or dinner. Quality and fresh from the sushi-master!!
