We went to Spada last Thursday night to try it as it’s local and quite new.We were served by who we thought must of been the owner and he was faultless. Very friendly, knowledgable with the menu and didn’t try and oversell etc etc.The food was exceptional. The arancini balls for entree were moist, favoursome and not coated in oil as others can be. For mains we shared a broccoli and ricotta orecchiette and a pizza. The pasta, whilst a simple combination was fantastic – very fresh, flavour combination just right and serving size quite good.The pizza was to die for. The crust was thin and crispy and quality toppings.For dessert the Jaffa brle was worth saving space for.There is a good wine list (quite a few options by the glass too) and there are some great Italian beers you don’t see anywhere else which my husband tells me were very good.Even with a few drinks it isn’t overly expensive – good value for the quality of the food and service.We will definitely be going back.
