  I’m thinking about the few times I have dined at Jensen’s over the last month as I write this review. This is easily the best restaurant in the shire at this point in time. The decor is gorgeous and every little detail has been thought of. What I would do to be able to purchase their plates!Most of the dishes I have had recently are pictured and they are all stunning using quality ingredients, imaginative recipes, great tastes and stunning presentation. The only dish that fell a little short was the John Dory. It is served on beurre blanc, sweet corn puree and a herb oil. As standalone sauces they are stunning. Together they overpower the fish and turn the dish into a very rich combination where it’s unclear which element is the hero. There is alot going on! Also the croquette and fish didn’t seem to be seasoned at all which may be to downplay them alongside the strong other flavours. This is just my opinion. Maybe removing one sauce and adding a middle layer like a green would do the trick. I’ve rated the restaurant 5 out of 5 so clearly I am a very happy customer. I will be back time and time again.

  So pleased this restaurant has opened in the Shire. The food is fresh, creative and delicious! The owners are constantly being creative and the visiting this place is a very enjoyable experience!

  Each visit has been amazing.The food has been flawless and the service perfect.The cocktail menu is a masterpiece, and if youre not sure what you feel like, the staff will happily talk you through everything.They deserve the 5 star rating

  A friend of mine heard good words of this new restaurant at Kareela shopping centre and wanted to check it out. The restaurant is very well decorated, filled with stylish furniture. It’s a big restaurant with comfortable space between the tables. Crockery is just beautiful and fits in with the style nicely. Food is definitely amazing!!! All food was perfectly plated and cooked. The roasted duck is the best duck I have had so far. It just melts in my mouth and the flavour is so light and playful. The blood orange and beetroot glaze marries the roast duck perfectly. It was absolutely delightful. I’d love to go back again and try out everything on the menu! * lamb ribs in the photo is medium rare, but it was how it was ordered. * 1.5% surcharge on credit cards

  I have been twice and both times the food was fantastic. The cocktails and wine list were also very good. My favourite dish thus far was the ravioli with king prawns, goats cheese and pine nuts and my favourite dessert would be the deep fried apple pie. The decor is gorgeous inside and I would recommend booking a booth for a bit more privacy. Service was very attentive and I will be back in the near future.

  Such a beautiful atmosphere! So warm and cosy. Service is great, all the staff knew their stuff! They knew the menu, knew the wines, and were so lovely. Is a bit pricey but is worth it, the food is so good! The only thing was it can be a touch loud in there and the main meals took quite a while to come out (I can understand they are popular and very busy but also I was hungry!) Would definitely go back!

  Booked a table of 20 people for my birthday dinner! We all loved this restaurant. 10/10! Amazing food and cocktails! Will definitely be coming back.
