My wife and I ate here on a quiet Monday night. Service was very friendly and the food was supurb. Fish cakes for entree followed by beef red curry and chicken mince salad (cold dish) were all excellent the chicken salad having a great chilli hit. Compares very favorably to our favorite local Thai restaurant in melbourne.
Lotsa tofu!. They have a separate vegetarian section of their menu, their sauces are nice. The tofu and veggie options are heavy tofu and light on veggies, but considering that vegan protein options are thin on the ground in Katoomba eateries this is not necessarily a bad thing. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere on a quiet Saturday was suitable for quiet conversations with good friends or your partner. Unfortunately there were no vegan desserts available, and whilst that’s pretty standard at most restaurants there are some great Thai vegan desserts that would have finished the meal nicely.
