We were on a day trip around the Blue Mountains and stopped at Katoomba for lunch. Found this place to have good ratings on zomato and decided to try it. The corner shop was busy when we arrived, we waited about 10mimutes before a table become available. The 5 of us squeeze in a table upstairs. It’s a lovely, rustic and cosy setting despite the dim lighting. The food was nice and the service was friendly. Nice place to stop by for food is you’re in the area.
This place was incredible. Service was flawless and food was amazing. I got the yogurt and my boyfriend got the lamb breakfast burger. Both came out pretty quickly and the results were brilliant! Coffee is amazing. The music suits the atmosphere and everything was just spot on with this cute little place 🙂
This cafe is owned by a group that is part of the Twelve Tribes cult. They allegedly practice child labour, beating their children with rods, splitting up families, sheltering members from the outside world, and antisemitism. I would strongly urge you to give your money to one of the many other fine cafes in Katoomba, where your money will not fund a cult.
Quaint, rustic, warm & friendly staff, fresh and ‘hearty’ food. The menu has changed with great options for vegetarians as well. We had a spinwich, yellow zipper, garden sandwich with mini lentil soup, fruit waffle (absolutely yummy, melts in your mouth). For drinks – the coffee was good – no burnt after taste but wasn’t as hot as it should have been, I didn’t care much as I don’t usually drink it hot). For tea aficionados, they have an interesting list of hot tea to choose from. We went on a foggy week day, so it wasn’t too busy. Must try!!!
