We ordered the Fowl and Beef tenderloin for mains and they were great! However, appetiser, entrees and the service really feel short for the price point.
Food at Darley’s was great. Restaurant gives a menu to choose between 2-courses, 3-courses or Degustation. With bread and amuse bouche are complementary. I chose the beef sirloin as main. Beef was sous vide and it was really tender and seasoned very well. Dessert is a mango, macha crumble sesame ice-cream. Refreshing and a nice finish.Service was great. Very professional although I find that it takes a while for the waiters to attend to the table for orders or drinks. Not the biggest issue as they still attend with high standard.Good food, good ambience however a little pricey. Worth a try if you are in Katoomba 🙂
WOW The place is in the originally house and beautiful decorated. We were going to have 3 course meal and ended with 5 courses. We were given a starter which was the chef’s complimentary, then our three courses, The we had a cappuccino which we got strawberry dip in chocolate and a cookie. The meat just melts in your mouth. The meals were just wow. Just perfect. The staff are very friendly A perfect evening
Amazing location but difficult to find in the dark! One way streets. Please book in the main house and not the veranda it’s quite cold there. The food is incredibly good and I don’t think you could go wrong! I had a beautiful Josef chromy sparkling and my friend had a lovely half bottle of basket press. Side, entree x 2 mains plus alcohol $320 foody
Darleys used to be really good. Last weekend was our most recent visit and will be our last. Overpriced food and not worth the dry pork without crackling that was served. We didn’t even stay for dessert. 2 courses and 2 beers $249. Not worth it.
