Terrible, not doing the simple things right.. My soy latte came out curdled, my potato rosti was so cold it had to have been premade sitting in the fridge. Very disappointed.
I really wanted to like this place and took a couple of visits to decide. At breakfast, the beans lacked flavour beyond just being sweet. The coffee wasn’t anything special (Elephant Bean a few doors up is much better). For my second visit, at lunch, I tried the sticky pork baguette. It would have been nice if again too much sugar hadn’t been used in the pork.
Best coffee in Katoomba. Well served, hot and full of flavor. Highly recommended. Serve a wicked sticky pork sandwich as well.
Small breakfast menu but very tasty food! I had scrambled eggs with chorizo, potato, feta and rocket – delish! Fun and friendly staff create a great atmosphere. I’ll be back!
