Not sure how to rate this place. Old school decor, incredibly average pub food (we had the guiness pie and pulled pork burger) and a fantastic selection of beers, including the locally produced craft beer on tap.If you don’t mind pub food, come for a meal. Otherwise, come and enjoy the delicious beers and the friendly staff.
Everything you want in a local small town pub. Old pub decor, friendly staff and good pub food served on non fancy crockery.I had the famous steak and Guinness pie. My first time trying this. I was delighted the puff pastry was light, flaky and golden. The steak melted in your mouth and the gravy was rich. Big chunks of potato and a decent serving size. The chips were great as well. Just what we were looking for.
